Surrogacy reform: We need your help!

Following Jessica Lee MP’s Parliamentary call for surrogacy reform in October 2014, the Minister for Public Health (formally Jane Ellison MP, now Nicola Blackwood MP) promised that the government would consider reviewing UK surrogacy law.  We need your help to make sure it happens. Please write to your MP to tell them why the law needs to change and ask them to urge the Minister to update the law to help people like you.

We have prepared some guidance to help you write a letter or email (see below).  Personal stories carry the most weight, so make it your own.

You can find out who your MP is and how to contact them here: http://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-your-mp/contacting-your-mp/

We also want to collate information to help our campaign.  If you write to your MP it would be great if you could let us know. If you are happy to share your letter with us (and any response), that would be even better – we will treat it in the strictest confidence.

Thank you for your help!
