Caring, energetic and creative, Helen has worked in fertility, donation and surrogacy for over a decade. She is a CEDR accredited mediator and business mentor with The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women project.
Helen is a regular speaker at fertility events and international conferences, and has an extensive network of contacts with agencies, medics and lawyers in the UK and internationally. She is regularly in the news, in Vogue, GQ, BBC and other publications, sharing her expertise.

Driven, passionate and approachable, Natalie is known as the UK’s leading fertility lawyer. With her gentle tenacity, she has been pivotal in much of the change happening in the law surrounding surrogacy in the UK over the last 15 years and has helped to shape it through her numerous published legal cases and her campaigning work. She has also contributed to the Law Commission’s review of the UK legal framework and campaigns for same sex parents and fertility patients.
Natalie is a regular voice on BBC Radio 4 Today and Women’s Hour and has been quoted in Parliament, ranked in the Independent’s Pink List, invited to meet the Prime Minister at 10 Downing St and nominated for Stonewall Hero of the Year Award. She is a former trustee of Fertility Network UK.
She has 2 donor conceived children as a same-sex parent, and has been an egg donor.
Level-headed, methodical and down to earth, Stephen has a varied background in management and as a police detective. His warmth and generosity in enabling others to achieve their dreams of having children stems from his own surrogacy journey.
Stephen offers support and guidance from start to finish, and ensures that relationships with intended parents, surrogates and their professional partners flourish effectively. He believes passionately in helping to drive surrogacy law reform in the UK.

Outgoing and organised, Gemma’s focus is on ensuring that every surrogacy journey is stable from start to finish. Her unending patience and thoughtfulness ensures that intended parents and surrogates (and the professionals working with them) are guided smoothly and sensitively.
Gemma’s background in legal marketing, project management and professional client services shines through in all she does. She offers bright optimism to both surrogates and intended parents alike and offers new surrogates guidance and a sensible grounding.

Empathetic and positive, Esther ensures that the teams she supports have a smooth surrogacy experience whatever their situation. She is always a step ahead to help navigate the myriad of choices and will often go the extra mile to ensure that the best choices are to hand.
Esther’s background in a family law team and at an adoption and fostering agency give her the drive and tenacity to help create families. Esther was a volunteer at Refugee Action and Citizen Advice, and her zest and professionalism ensure that her teams feel secure and actively supported.
Kirstie runs both our offices and supports all our client work, providing invaluable administrative support to the team.
Often the first point of contact, she is warm, understanding and personable. Having been part of the team since 2014 she is also knowledgeable about all areas of our work, and is exceptionally well organised with a keen eye for detail.
Becky is an intrinsic part of the daily running of our office, with particular focus on supporting the administration of our finances.
Always positive and keen to assist, Becky comes with a Zoology degree and has a meticulous approach to detail. She volunteers with the RSPB and her effortless kindness is often called upon. As one of the team that answers initial calls, Becky is a font of knowledge, as well as being relied on for her sensitive and calm nature.
Joining the company in 2017, Kelly provides invaluable support and attention to detail for both Brilliant Beginnings and NGA Law as a paralegal. As well as graduating with a Psychology Degree, Kelly has worked in pressurised and highly emotive family roles as a Therapeutic Practitioner in a children’s home, making her a valuable member of the legal team.
With liveliness and an approachable nature, Kelly looks after our Brilliant Beginnings clients as they move into their legal phase. She provides empathy as well as clear guidance as she navigates our surrogacy teams through the court and the Parental Order process.
Safiya joined the team in January 2019 having hailed from a digital marketing and research background.
Her positive attitude, and innovative and creative nature, is evident from the first moment you come into contact with her. She works alongside the whole team to get our campaigning messages out to our community, the wider public and policymakers and is always looking for new ways to be challenged.
